Life gets pretty hectic sometimes, but a quilt, a completed quilt, is a testament to the stability of family and friends. All the pieces join together to create something wonderful! And knitted sweaters and hats and mittens and scarves, well, they keep our loved ones wrapped in love.

And then there were none...
No more little peachicks. I would think the cold and wet got to these last two, but that doesn't explain the deaths of the first three, which were sheltered in the coop. Ah, well, there's always next year...
